How a brow shaping appointment works
Every brow appointment starts with a conversation. Tell me what you like, what you do not, what you have been trying to grow out, and what you want your brows to feel like.
Then we map the shape together before anything comes off. You get to see where we are going, we talk through it, and once we both feel good about it, I get to work.
And yes, I am picky about what touches your skin. The wax I use is vegan and cruelty-free.

We talk through what you like, map the shape together, then wax, tweeze and trim. You get to see where we are going before anything comes off.
You leave with a shape that feels like you, plus simple product and maintenance tips to help you keep it up between visits.
Eyebrow Lamination.
Fuller, brushed-up brows that stay in place.
$120 • 45 minutes
Brow lamination relaxes and resets your natural brow hairs so they can be brushed into a fuller, more even shape. The result typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
It works with the brow hair you already have, so the final shape is still completely yours.
Have an active skin condition, recent microblading, use HRT, or are pregnant or breastfeeding? Reach out before booking so we can make sure brow lamination is the right fit for you.
Brow Tint.
A little more definition, still completely your brows.
$30 • 30 minutes on its own
$20 • 15 minutes added to another brow service
A semi-permanent tint adds depth and definition to your natural brow hair. We match the color to your hair, skin tone and the look you are going for.
Want to keep it natural? Easy. Want to play a little? We also have deep blue and deep purple. 😉
When you book, you’ll see it listed as “Brow and Lash Tint” because the same tint service can be used for lashes too.
Eyebrow Tweeze Only.
All the shaping, no wax.
$40 • 30 minutes
This is the option to book if you use retinol, Retin-A, AHAs, BHAs or stronger exfoliating products, or if you have recently had Botox and want to avoid waxing the area.

You leave with your brows shaped, lifted and more defined, with results that typically last 4 to 6 weeks.
Before I wax, tweeze or laminate, I want to understand your brows.
We talk about what you like, map the shape together, and make sure you can see where we are going before anything comes off.
That first appointment gives us a shape and a plan. After that, maintenance waxes, tinting, lamination and everything else are much easier because we already know your brows.
One good first appointment makes everything after it easier.
I choose every product carefully
I tried a few before landing on this one. That is pretty much how everything gets into Wax N’ Blush. I test it, use it, and make sure I actually believe in it first.

Brow tinting
in Long Beach
Brow tint adds semi-permanent color to your natural brow hair for a little more depth and definition. We match the shade to your hair, skin tone and the look you are going for.
At Wax N’ Blush in East Village, brow tint is $30 for a 30 minute appointment, or $20 and 15 minutes when added to another brow service.
The same tint can be used on lashes too, which is why you will see the service listed as “Brow and Lash Tint” when you book.

Want your brows and lashes done in one visit? The Beauty Bundle combines eyebrow waxing, brow lamination and brow tint with a lash lift and lash tint.
This is my favorite pick-me-up, whether it’s for every day or before a vacation. You wake up looking naturally fresh-faced, with your brows and lashes already done.
Brow results typically last 4 to 6 weeks, while your lash lift can last 6 to 8 weeks.

Four to six weeks, depending on your hair texture and how you look after them.
Keep them dry and skip eye makeup, steam, and touching them (I know) for the first 24 hours.
After that a little clear brow gel in the morning is all they need.
Can I get brow lamination while pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, reach out before booking. We can talk through the service and help you decide whether brow lamination is the right appointment for you right now.
Does HRT affect brow lamination?
Hormonal changes can affect how hair and skin respond to cosmetic services. If you are using HRT and have questions about brow lamination, reach out before booking so we can talk through the service with you.
Can I get brow lamination after microblading or with a skin condition?
If you have had microblading recently or have an active skin condition around the brow area, reach out before booking. We will talk through what is going on and help you choose the brow service that makes the most sense right now.
Can I get my brows waxed if I use retinol or just had Botox?
Not waxed, no, but you can still be shaped. Book Eyebrow Tweeze Only, $40 for 30 minutes. It is the same precision without the wax, and it is there specifically for clients on retin-a, retinol, AHA, BHA, chemical exfoliants or peels, and for anyone with recent Botox.

Do you do eyebrow threading?
No. We shape with wax and tweezers rather than thread. If you have only ever been threaded and you are nervous about wax, book the Eyebrow Tweeze Only at $40, which is the same precision with no wax at all.
Do you take walk-ins?
We recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred time. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but brows are one appointment at a time here, so there is often not a gap to squeeze into.
