If you've been seeing "brow lamination" everywhere and wondering what it actually is, this is for you.
Brow lamination is a treatment that lifts and sets your natural brow hairs into a fuller, brushed-up shape. Think of it like a perm for your brows, but without the tight curl. The result is brows that look groomed, defined, and fuller without pencil, powder, or a daily routine.
How it works
The treatment uses a gentle chemical solution to soften the brow hairs, then sets them in an upward direction. Once set, a neutralizer locks them in place. The whole process takes about 45 minutes to an hour, and the results last 4 to 6 weeks depending on your hair texture and how you care for them afterward.
At Wax N' Blush, we always pair lamination with a wax and tint, so you leave with brows that are lifted, shaped, and defined. All in one appointment.
Who it works best for
Brow lamination is a good fit if your brows are unruly, grow in different directions, or feel flat no matter what you do with them. It also works well for people with sparse brows who want the appearance of more fullness without microblading or tattooing.
It's not recommended during pregnancy, if you're breastfeeding, or if you have active eczema or dermatitis around the brow area.
What to expect after
For the first 24 hours, keep your brows dry and avoid eye makeup, steam, and touching them. After that, a small amount of clear brow gel in the morning is all you need to keep the shape in place.
Is it right for you?
The best way to know is to come in and talk through it. Every brow is different, and part of what we do at Wax N' Blush is make sure you're booked for the right service before you sit down in the chair.
