How a lash appointment works
Wax N' Blush is a clean beauty boutique on East 1st Street in the East Village, Long Beach. Every lash appointment is with me (it is a tiny shop, and that is on purpose), and we talk through what you are going for before we start.
It takes 45 minutes and your eyes stay closed for all of it. Come without eye makeup if you can, and keep water, steam and mascara off your lashes for the first 24 hours afterwards. That is the whole of the aftercare.

A lash lift is the one service that adds the perfect amount of drama while subtly highlighting your natural hair.
No extensions, no glue, no fills every two weeks, nothing to take off at night. Your own lashes, curled and set, for 6 to 8 weeks.. and trust us, this will end up being your favorite service!

Beauty Bundle
$300 - 120 minutes
Brows and lashes in one sitting. Eyebrow wax, eyebrow lamination and eyebrow tint, plus a lash lift and a lash tint. Holds 4 to 6 weeks.
Not recommended if you are on HRT, pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin condition, recent microblading, watery or sensitive eyes, or have had recent eye surgery.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is essentially a perm for your lashes. A silicone shield holds them in the shape you want, a lifting solution softens the bond that makes them lie flat, a setting solution locks the new shape in. Nothing is attached to your lashes and nothing is added to them.
It lasts 6 to 8 weeks
Which is one full growth cycle. It does not fall out or go patchy. It grows out, gradually, and by the end you will not be able to tell when it finished.
Most short lashes work.
A lift changes the angle, not the length, so short straight lashes often gain more visible difference than long ones do.

We recommend arriving (eye) makeup free, but if you can't due to work we understand.
24 Hours after: Please avoid steam, makeup, water and soap
and touching of lashes. The shape is still setting.
If you are already using a growth serum, you can continue to use it, as this helps with hair health, if you have questions about the formula, please mention it to us!
If you've received a lash lift service within the last 8 weeks (at a different salon) please book with us when you no longer have a curl in your lash, we want to avoid any potential over processing (aka frying) of the hair.
Come without eye makeup if you can.
If you arrive in mascara we will take it off, we just like to avoid potentially irritating your eyes prior to service.
