• Contact details: name, phone, and email. From you, when you book, buy, or contact us.
• Booking details: services booked, dates, appointment history, and notes. From your bookings through Square.
• Consultation information: date of birth, allergies, skin conditions, medications, recent treatments, and signatures. From your consent form.
• Order details: products bought, shipping address, and Reset Box subscription. From your purchases through Wix.
• Payment details: card on file and payment history. Processed and stored by Square and Wix.
• Marketing preferences: whether you agreed to emails or texts. From you, when you opt in.
• Website usage: pages viewed, device, and browser type. From Wix's built-in site analytics.

3. Health and Consultation Information

The information on your consent form, such as allergies, medications, skin conditions, and pregnancy, is used only to decide whether a service is safe for you and how to perform it. We never use it for marketing and never sell or share it, except with the service providers that store it for us, or when the law requires it.

 

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Wax N' Blush:

• Square: appointment booking, consent forms, payments, gift cards, and marketing emails and texts
• Wix: our website, online store, member accounts, and Reset Box subscriptions
• USPS and UPS: delivering your orders

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is sold or transferred.

 

5. Marketing Emails and Texts

We send marketing emails and texts through Square, only to clients who opt in.

• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any marketing text. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to texts is not required to book or buy.
• We never share your phone number or text opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.

You will still receive appointment confirmations and reminders after opting out of marketing.

 

6. Website Analytics and Cookies

Our website runs on Wix, which uses cookies and similar tools to operate the site and provide basic usage statistics. We do not use advertising pixels, sell browsing data, or track you across other websites. Because we do not track visitors across sites, our site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Our homepage shows Google reviews through a third-party reviews widget. When the page loads, your browser connects to that widget's servers, which may receive technical details such as your IP address.

 

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Square and Wix. Wax N' Blush does not see or store your full card number. When you save a card on file at booking, Square stores it to cover cancellation fees and future payments you authorize.

 

8. Children and Minors

Our website is not directed to children under 13. We serve clients aged 16 and 17 only for face, skin, and makeup services, and only with a parent or legal guardian's consent. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

 

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services, keep accurate treatment records, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

 

10. How We Protect Information

We keep client records in Square and Wix, which secure their systems and process payments under industry security standards. Access to client records is limited to the Wax N' Blush team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

 

11. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal, tax, or treatment-record reasons
• Stop sending you marketing

Information about Wax N' Blush may appear in search engines and AI assistants, including Google's Business Agent. If you interact with us through one of these services, that provider's privacy policy governs what it collects. Our website links to booking and checkout pages run by Square and Wix, which have their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy. Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we will notify affected clients.
