How a lash appointment works
Every lash appointment is with me. We are a little boutique in the East Village, and and that’s on purpose. Before we start, we talk through what you are going for and I customize the lift to your natural lashes.
The appointment takes about 45 minutes and your eyes stay closed the whole time. Come without eye makeup if you can, then keep water, steam and mascara off your lashes for the first 24 hours while the lift sets.

A lash lift gives your natural lashes lasting curl for 6 to 8 weeks, so you can skip the lash curler and get a little time back in the morning.
No extensions, no glue, no fills every few weeks... just your own lashes, lifted and set.

Lash Lift
$115 • 45 minutes
Your own lashes, lifted into a soft curl that lasts 6 to 8 weeks. No extensions, no glue and no daily curling.
Perfect if you like your natural lashes but want them to look more open, lifted and already done when you wake up.
Have very watery or sensitive eyes, use HRT, or recently had eye surgery? Reach out before booking so we can make sure a lash lift is the right fit for you.
Lash Tint
$30 • 30 minutes on its own
$20 • 15 minutes added to a lash lift
Want darker, more defined lashes without reaching for mascara? A lash tint deepens the color of your natural lashes. It adds color, not curl, so it’s perfect if you already like the shape of your lashes or want to add it to your lift.
When you book, you’ll see it listed as ‘Brow and Lash Tint’ because the same tint can be used for brows too.
Perfect Eyes Bundle
$135 • 60 minutes
Want the lift and the color? This is the one. Your natural lashes are lifted into a soft curl, then tinted for extra definition. The result lasts 6 to 8 weeks and gives you that already-done look with less need for mascara.

Beauty Bundle
$300 • 120 minutes
Want your brows and lashes done in one appointment? This is the full package. Brow wax, brow lamination and brow tint, plus a lash lift and lash tint, all in one visit.
Brow results typically last 4 to 6 weeks, while your lash lift can last 6 to 8 weeks.
Pregnant or breastfeeding, use HRT, have very watery or sensitive eyes, an active skin condition, recent microblading, or recent eye surgery? Reach out before booking so we can make sure the full bundle is a good fit for you.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is basically a perm for your natural lashes. A silicone shield holds them in the shape we want, then a lifting solution softens the bond that keeps them straight and a setting solution locks the new curl in.
Nothing is attached to your lashes and nothing is added. It is still all you... just lifted.
Typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks
Your lift grows out gradually with your natural lashes, so there is no sudden drop-off or patchy stage. You will just start noticing your natural pattern coming back.
Works on most short lashes
A lift changes the angle, not the length, so short straight lashes can sometimes show an even bigger difference than longer lashes that already have some curl.

We start by getting your lashes clean and ready, then protect the delicate eye area before the lift begins.
Your lashes are placed onto a silicone shield, then the lifting and setting solutions create and hold the new curl.
Once the lift is finished, your lashes are released from the shield and gently brushed into place.
Your own lashes, just lifted. The result typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks as they naturally grow out.

Before you come in
Come without mascara or eye makeup if you can. If not, we’ll take it off before we start.
Had a lash lift somewhere else in the last 8 weeks? Wait until the existing curl has mostly grown out before booking. This helps us avoid overprocessing your lashes.
First 24 hours after
Keep your lashes dry and avoid water, steam, mascara, eye makeup and rubbing or touching.
After 24 hours, you’re good to go. That’s it. 😉

How much is a lash lift in Long Beach?
At Wax N' Blush, a lash lift is $115 for a 45 minute appointment and it holds 6 to 8 weeks.

What’s the difference between a lash lift and lash extensions?
They do different things. Extensions add length and density with individual fibers attached to the natural lashes, and they usually need fills every few weeks. A lash lift curls the lashes you already have and needs very little upkeep between appointments. If you want curl without extensions or added weight, a lash lift may be the better fit. We do not offer lash extensions here.
Do you do lash extensions?
No. We do lash lifts and lash tinting. If you want length and density added, extensions are what you are after and that is not a service offered here.
Does a lash lift damage your lashes?
A professionally performed lash lift is designed to work with your natural lashes without extensions or added weight. Like any chemical lash service, correct timing and spacing between appointments matter to avoid overprocessing.
Do lash lifts work on short lashes?
Yes, many short lashes can be lifted. A lift changes the angle rather than the length, so short straight lashes can sometimes show a bigger visible difference than longer lashes that already have some curl.
How long after a lash lift can I wear mascara?
24 hours. Also no water, steam, swimming or rubbing your eyes for that first 24 hours, while the shape is setting. After that you can wear mascara whenever you like, though most people find they stop bothering.
Can I get a lash lift if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Tell us when you book. Because pregnancy and breastfeeding can change sensitivity, we recommend discussing cosmetic treatments with your healthcare provider if you have concerns, and we’ll review the service with you before your appointment.
Do I need a consultation before my first lash lift?
No. Brows and facials both require a longer first visit here, lashes do not. You can book the Lash Lift directly.
Do you take walk-ins?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but lashes are one appointment at a time here, so there is often not a gap to squeeze into.
